Dental Care for the Homeless

Dental Care for the Homeless

Help Restore Smiles, Health and Dignity

Many people experiencing homelessness live with serious and often painful dental problems, including infections, tooth decay, missing teeth and dentures that are damaged, lost or no longer fit properly.

Without suitable dental care, everyday activities such as eating and speaking can become painful or difficult. Poor oral health can also affect a person’s confidence, comfort and overall wellbeing.

We are seeking partnerships with local dental practices and dental professionals who can help us provide accessible treatment to people in urgent need.

Dental treatment can quickly become expensive. A new set of dentures may cost approximately $3,000, depending on the individual treatment required. When examinations, extractions, repairs and other preparatory work are also needed, the total cost can rise significantly.

We want to help fund services such as:

Dental examinations and urgent treatmentTreatment for decay and infectionTooth extractions where clinically requiredDenture repairs and adjustmentsReplacement denturesFollow-up care and ongoing support

Restoring someone’s oral health can relieve pain, improve their ability to eat and speak, rebuild confidence and support their overall quality of life.

With the help of dental professionals, community partners and generous donors, we can make essential dental care available to people who may otherwise continue suffering without treatment.

Please consider partnering with us or donating towards this important work. Together, we can help restore health, dignity and hope.
